I've been a busy wee boy recently. I've been primarily focusing on getting work ready for the Glasgow School of Art 2013 Degree Show. I've seen my final prints, and they're currently at the framers, and I've got my space assigned in the Mac building, so it's all kinda coming together now. I'm really looking forward to this, although it is definitely starting to get a bit nerve-wracking! It opens to the public on the 8th of June, and runs until the 15th.
As well as the degree show, I'm showing some work as part of a show called Second Act at the Lighthouse. Curated by Heidi Kuisma: "It depicts the city as an ever evolving play: the streets the stage set, the citizens the characters. Comedy, tragedy and drama unfold around us daily." The show opens on the 16th of May and runs til the 2nd of June - Full Details Here.
I've been putting on my DoP's hat quite a bit recently too - I've just finished shooting short films with Joseph Andrew Mclean, Lily Paterson and Karoliina Pulkkinen respectively, and have a few more wee video/film based projects coming up in the near future. I'll be sure to post up links to the final products once they're available.
